A Message from our Founder

SalesIntel: Rising In the Time of Need

When I wrote this part of our monthly newsletter last month, the markets were soaring, we were personally excited about the half a dozen events we were planning to attend and the outlook overall was great. I couldn’t have imagined it would all come crashing down in a matter of weeks. Nobody could! 

What started as a health crisis has quickly snowballed into a wider business catastrophe. While most businesses would still somehow manage to achieve their Q1 goals, the Q2 strategy is still up in the air. While the government is pouring trillions to save the economy, large corporations committing hundreds of millions for those in need, SalesIntel would also like to do its small part for the community we serve. To that extent, we are announcing $1M in data, software, and discounts. 

We recognize three key pain points businesses are suffering and I wish to share with you the initiatives SalesIntel has taken on all those fronts: 

Financial 

While these are tough times for the business community as a whole, the smaller firms are the most vulnerable. With growth slowing down and even stagnating, many businesses would find it tough to even keep their heads above water. 

We have pledged $1M to help struggling businesses and are offering discounts from 30% up to 100% off of our annual subscriptions for companies most in need. We will be sharing details around this offer later this week. We sincerely hope this would help smaller businesses keep revenue flowing and withstand these turbulent times. 

Operational 

As most businesses shutter down their offices and WFH becomes the norm to flatten the curve, face to face meetings have virtually stopped and businesses have already started to report softening demand, lost deals and slowing pipeline. The core problem here is that sales reps are struggling to get in touch with their prospects which in turn takes its toll on the demand gen and revenues. 

To counter such disruptions in the sales process we have stepped up our efforts and risen to the need with numerous initiatives including: 

  1. Aggressively adding mobile phone numbers to our sales intelligence platform to keep the conversations going and not let WFH become a barrier. 
  2. With most events canceled, companies have lost a major source of their leads. To help those companies take some pressure off and strengthen their sales funnel, we are offering 1,000 free leads. 
  3. We have ramped up daily contact reveals in our free RevDriver tool to 25/day (from 10/month earlier) to help individual sales reps who have been struggling to get in touch with their prospects. 

Morale

Now, more than ever is the time to stand together. The market is gloomy and there is anxiety on the floor. We are doing everything we can to build and give back to the community when it matters the most. Our team, including me, is constantly reaching out with personal messages to share our experiences, express solidarity and offering help to keep businesses moving forward. 

These are unprecedented times and to be fair, every strategy and initiative you adopt would mostly be a patchwork that can’t possibly match your usual sales processes and funnel. But that’s exactly the point – to keep typing, innovating, and in the process helping others to get through these uncertain times and ultimately emerge stronger on the other side. 

Stay healthy, stay safe and be positive, this shall pass too!
