Privacy Policy
Effective date: December 18, 2019; updated February 25, 2026
With SalesIntel, you will always have everything you need to maintain and strengthen your relationships. We do this by using the power of crowdsourcing, in which users of our apps and services contribute their contact data to our Business Contact Database. We use this data, anonymize it, and match it with billions of other data points from millions of other users who have contributed their data as well, to determine the best business contact data for each individual.
This Privacy Policy explains how SalesIntel collects, uses, shares, and secures your information when you use our apps, visit our website, or use other products and services (collectively, the “Services”). When you visit our website or use our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. We will notify you about material changes either by email (if you have provided your email address) or by prominently posting the revised policy on our websites and/or apps.

The Business Contact Database
We apply our patented algorithms to data in the Business Contact Database to identify the most up-to-date business information for each contact. We may provide that up-to-date business contact information to our users, clients, and business partners to ensure their address books and contacts are always kept current.
We make best efforts to remove non-business information — such as home addresses, home phone numbers, personal email addresses, and personal mobile phone numbers — before populating the Business Contact Database. These personal data elements are not permitted in the Business Contact Database.
Business professionals whose business contact information may be listed in the Business Contact Database may access their own business information upon request.

We may share your Personal Information:
- With our affiliates;

- To correlate, match, or verify information from your Personal Address Books with information held by service providers and trusted partners;
- With partners and co-sponsors as part of a poll, quiz, survey, contest, reward program, or other activity;
- As part of a change in control or sale of all or part of SalesIntel or its subsidiaries;
- To verify or enforce our Terms of Service or other applicable policies; or
- As required by law (e.g., in response to valid legal process from a government agency).
In addition, we may share information stored in our Business Contact Database with users of our Services or with our business clients for their internal business purposes, including marketing, or for further resale. We may also make this information available to partners for data hygiene processes and for marketing business information.
Cookies & Other Technologies
“Cookies” are small files placed on a device when it visits a website. We use cookies for many purposes, including remembering preferences and tracking visits to facilitate and maintain your current user session. We use both session cookies (which disappear when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your computer to remember your preferences and improve our Services). Most browsers allow you to disable cookies; however, some functionality may not be available if you do so.
Web beacons (clear gifs, pixel tags) are small graphics embedded in web pages or email. We use these to count visitors, monitor navigation, and measure email open rates. We may associate Personal Information with web beacon activity. For further information, please see our Cookie Policy.
Third Parties
Service Providers
Our service providers may include network advertisers, ad agencies, traffic measurement services, and other vendors. We use these providers to: collect and store usage data; serve our advertisements; provide information on advertisement effectiveness; and build and maintain user profiles. They may collect information about your visits to our websites and use of our Services using cookies, web beacons, and other technologies.
App Analytics
We use third-party analytics services to collect and process information about the use of our mobile applications. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your information by us and our analytics providers as described in this Privacy Policy.
Social Networks & Email Platforms
We offer you the option to link your social networking (e.g., Twitter, Facebook) and email accounts (e.g., Gmail) with your SalesIntel account. SalesIntel’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Ad Servers
We may use third-party ad servers to serve targeted advertisements. These ad servers may automatically collect information about your visits using cookies, web beacons, and other technologies. For more information about your choices, please visit networkadvertising.org and aboutads.info.
We sometimes provide links to third-party websites or services for your convenience. Such links do not signify our endorsement of those sites or their practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties.
Your Choices
You may request to unsubscribe from our Services at any time via the SalesIntel Privacy Contact Form. Additional verification may be required. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days. We will retain information you previously provided.
You may also update your Registration Information through your account settings. You may stop using our Services by removing our applications from your device. For Services linked to other accounts (e.g., email or social media), you must deactivate those links to stop our access.
You can prevent collection of Personal Information from third-party email and social networking services by not linking those accounts with your SalesIntel account. You may also adjust permissions on your device, browser, and social accounts at any time.
How We Retain Information
We keep your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. We may retain Personal Information for a longer period for legal and accounting purposes and where required by law. Unless otherwise required under applicable law, we retain Business Contacts in our Business Contact Database for as long as that information is useful.
How We Protect Information
We maintain commercially reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access and disclosure, both online and offline. These include reasonable technical, physical, and administrative safeguards consistent with our business operations and industry standards, such as:
- SSL or equivalent encryption technology for data in transit;
- Firewalls and intrusion detection systems;
- Role-based access controls so only authorized employees access personal data;
- Encryption of certain data at rest in our databases.
While we take reasonable precautions, no Internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. Please keep your username and password safe and log out of your account after each session. You may report suspected breaches to support@salesintel.io.

If we learn that we have inadvertently gathered such information, we will take reasonable measures to delete or destroy it from our records.
International Transfers
If you are a user, member, or visitor who resides outside the United States, your Personal Information may be transferred to and processed in countries where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may differ from the laws in your country. We may store, process, and/or transfer Personal Information to countries outside of the country or region of origin, including to servers in the United States. By using our Services or providing us with any information, you understand and consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States for the legitimate business purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Safeguards for Transfers from the EU / UK / Switzerland
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States, SalesIntel relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, where applicable.
Compliance
The SalesIntel Leads database profiles decision makers and key influencers based in the United States. The use of contact information for business purposes is subject to local and federal privacy restrictions. As a data controller, SalesIntel is compliant with applicable regulations, most prominently CAN-SPAM, which addresses electronic mail standards and opt-out clauses. Compliance with applicable privacy standards beyond CAN-SPAM does not extend automatically to our clients — whether a direct user, channel partner, or distribution partner using our APIs — and the onus is on them to ensure they follow any and all applicable privacy standards when using data accessed through our Services.
