Associate Account Executives are responsible for full-cycle sales. This includes prospecting, new business sales, onboarding, account management and renewal sales. The Associate Account Executive recognizes opportunities and turns leads into long-lasting partnerships. With extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, you will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. You may also assist in developing sales strategies and improving processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects.
  • Learn and apply a variety of sales techniques and marketing tools to reach assigned targets.
  • Follow up with prospects continuously throughout the sales cycle to ensure an engaged customer experience.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers
  • Compile and analyze data to find trends.
  • Make recommendations towards development of sales strategies and best practices.
  • Stay current on company offerings, product changes and industry trends.
  • Maintain a database of contact information.
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Manage client relationships ultimately resulting in renewal revenue.
  • Uncover customer challenges and translate them into opportunities.
  • Partner with sales leadership to negotiate contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 8 months of business development experience.
  • Prior new business sales or account management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and Outreach preferred.
  • Knowledge of company offerings and industry trends.
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual with the desire to advance a career in the SalesIntel sales organization.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to maintain a high sales activity level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
