Our IT team provides support that enables all employees to successfully use company provided devices and systems. By joining our team, you will apply your customer-first skills to onboard new staff and ensure everyone has the IT services they need to be productive. You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of DevOps and automation. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Handles staff support issues through slack, email, and video conferencing
  • Maintain, support, and distribute our inventory of Mac laptops for end users, provisioning equipment to newly hired remote staff in a timely manner
  • Help maintain our network documentation in Confluence
  • Support in-office technologies, onsite in our Tysons Corner office (such as wifi, printer/scanner, and smart-locks) on a hybrid two days per week or as needed basis. 
  • Helps onboard and offboard staff by creating or terminating slack, gmail, and other end user accounts
  • Support asset tracking and compliance-related initiatives
  • Train with other departments to help understand their technology needs and support them
  • Support Windows desktops and laptops as we begin to roll them out to new staff
  • Assist the DevOps team in automating IT support processes

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience providing remote help desk support to professional teams
  • 2 years’ experience providing Mac support (required)
  • 2 years’ experience providing Windows support (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications may substitute part of experience requirement
  • Communicates clearly and effectively verbally and in writing in English
  • Excellent customer service skills with the  patience to support people that are sometimes less technically savvy
  • Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and able to provide occasional support during non-scheduled hours
  • Must be within commuting distance to Tysons Corner area
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and have the ability to perform all duties, which may require physical demands such as bending, stooping, reaching and crawling
