Full Stack Development Team Lead

The Full Stack Team Lead is a hands-on leader with proven development and small team leadership experience. You will oversee development activities for a variety of products offered by the SalesIntel portfolio. You will oversee activities including development, peer reviews, architectural design, and personnel management. You will oversee a small team of engineers (front-end and back-end) and be responsible for development and integration efforts over an AWS infrastructure with Java, Angular, and other technologies with the potential for future growth.

The Team Lead will have proven experience with both hands-on Java development, and team leadership experience. You will evaluate tools and processes to better team development and facilitate clear and accurate communication between your team and other groups in the organization. You will embody and display the concepts of servant leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train software developers
  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the team
  • Manage performance reviews for team members
  • Manage day to day operations and coordination of development efforts by the team
  • Coordinate releases of services to testing and production environments
  • Handle and manage communication processes with other teams, product management, QA, to name a few


  • Develop Java based software services from requirements to implementation and unit testing
  • Identify and set appropriate development standards and practices for product development
  • Communicate with other teams and management on team status, impediments and needs
  • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues
  • Review stories and requirements to ensure that development can proceed with minimal discussion once accepted into development
  • Evaluate and develop new tools and processes to increase efficiency of the entire suite of SalesIntel products
  • Participate in architectural design and discussions with architects and other senior leaders


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in Java development
  • At least 2 years experience leading full stack development teams locally and remotely
  • Proven experience with recent hands-on development in Java in a microservices based environment. Solid experience with Spring boot and hibernate
  • Proficient working in an AWS based environment
  • Proven hands-on experience with reviewing, commenting on, and approving pull requests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Experience with load and performance testing a plus
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is a definite plus
  • Experience with Angular applications is a plus
