We are looking for an Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Cloud team. At SalesIntel, we use cutting edge technologies, tools, and practices to build and manage an extensive Cloud infrastructure. We do all of this with a DevOps philosophy, managing Infrastructure-as-Code,  Security-as-Code, automating business processes such as onboarding and offboarding, as well as infrastructure monitoring and alerting to include automated self-healing responses to alerts. We help the core development team by managing and automating code pipelines, as well as things like setting up centralized logging and APM tracing for our dozens of microservices so that they can easily identify performance issues. We are seeking someone who can help us continue to innovate, with strong experience contributing to a software development team, experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud-based technologies with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT and DevOps operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Help in building next generation cloud infrastructures as code
  • Orchestrate and automate day to day cloud operations in AWS using Ansible
  • Design, Create and maintain production and multiple non-production environments
  • Develop and maintain tooling to assist with things like integration tests, performance tooling, building production and staging environments, CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, etc
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance statistics for cloud hosted Linux systems using Datadog
  • Contribution to iterative documentation
  • Isolate and resolve issues that cross different software architectures, and within different Linux version / distributions
  • Evolve infrastructure, server, deployment strategies and testing to support our goal of 100% up-time and quick turnaround of deployments for the engineering organization
  • Continuously improve our infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant
  • Learn new things, adapt to rapidly changing requirements


  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years of strong linux administration experience
  • Strong shell or bash scripting experience
  • Ansible playbook and custom role development
  • Experienced in working with continuous delivery tool sets and has insight into rapid deployment, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting in a cloud hosted environment
  • Extensive experience with Ansible, AWS, and YAML
  • Experience with Google Cloud, Azure, and other automation languages such as Chef, Salt and Puppet a plus (not required)
  • Administering / managing Relational Database Management Systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Software development experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or NodeJS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical problem solving skills
