We had a great turn out for our panel discussion “Understanding How Contact Data and Revenue are Intertwined in 2019” on May 2nd!

A huge thank you to our moderator Elizabeth Shea, Executive Vice President at REQ (formerly SpeakerBox) and to our panelist Cindy Zhou, Chief Marketing Officer at Level Access, Sean McDermott, CEO of Red Monocle, and Charlie Minesinger, Vice President of Sales at RackTop.

They covered a multitude of topics about ABM, marketing communication channels, data quality and more. They all concurred that the martech stacks are over-complicated and that quality data has to come first. We grabbed some of the highlights for you in the videos below.

How it Works

We’re excited to release the newest addition to the SalesIntel platform, Upload a List. This feature lets you upload your lists of contacts or companies and compare them with our 95% accurate human verified data and our dat pending verification. So now, you can see how much information we have for the contacts or companies that you’re targeting.

Uploading a Company List

Once you’ve logged into SalesIntel, go to the Lists tab and select ‘create a list’. You’re then given the option to select contact or company list. In this tutorial we’ll show you how to navigate the company lists (clicks button).

First you’ll be brought to this window where you can name the list, download our template for easy upload or simply upload your own CSV document with the domain. then simply run your search.

On the results page, we’ll show you the total number of companies or domains you uploaded, the number of human verified companies we have from your list under ‘Domain Matched’, the number of companies we have pending verification and the total number of human verified contacts found. If you click the blue companies button you can further refine your uploaded list by adding additional filters such as technographic data.

When you scroll down you’ll see the Contact Info Grid. This chart shows you how the total number of human verified contacts found in your list are distributed by level and department and the total number of contacts pending verification. If you click on one of the blue numbers you’ll be brought to that specific list of contacts.

We’ve added a section in the side panel for company lists. Simply select a list you’ve previously uploaded and you can run a new search using additional filters here.

Remember, we re-verify all of our contact information every 90 days. So make sure that you check back on lists you’ve previously uploaded and re-run the search by clicking its name to see if we’ve add more human verified contacts.

Here’s how it works.

First you’ll be brought to this window where you can name the list, download our template for easy upload or simply upload your own CSV document. Then click ‘Next’ to run your search.

Next we give you the option to map your field results. If there are fields you didn’t include in your uploaded file or did not map to one of the predefined fields go to the drop down menu and select ‘skip’. Once you have your fields properly mapped then click ‘save list’.

Keep in mind you’re potentially comparing 5000 pieces of contact information at once. So it will take a little bit of time to complete. Yet, we’ve optimized this process so it shouldn’t take more than a minute.

Once we’ve completed your search you’ll be shown your results here! This list shows we ran 4,755 contacts. We have a 93% match rate for a total of 4,419 human verified contacts and have 336 that are still pending verification. If you scroll down you’ll see more details such as the number of fields we were able to append for you.

At the bottom of the window you’re given the option to download the matched human verified contacts we found for you and request verification from our phenomenal research team for contacts still pending verification.

Prior to joining RackTop Systems, Charlie lead mid-market and enterprise sales teams at Distil Networks for five years. Having sold CyberSecurity, new gTLD registries, mobile solutions, and enterprise call center software, he has been selling B2B for 15+ years. Charlie is known for breaking into new markets and selling new/innovative technology products into established market. Simply enter the search criteria you need–technographics, firmographics, location parameters, etc.–and when SalesIntel shows you the results click the blue “Save Search” button here. You’ll then be prompted to give your search a name. Once you’ve done that hit “save” and you’ve successfully created a Saved Search.

To access your queries, go to the Saved Searches tab and you’ll see them listed here. If you want to open or edit an existing search, click on its  name and you’ll be brought to the results page with all the criteria from the original search here.

You can update the search results by changing the filters in the side panel. So let’s say we want to expand the search to include companies in California, Nevada and Arizona. Just log into your Outreach account and you’re good to go. Select the contacts you want, go to Bulk Actions, and then click export to Outreach. You’re automatically given a prompt to add tags, choose sequences and select a sequence owner.
